Lisa Herota and Cheryl Snook have joined the staff at Northern Nevada Medical Center.
Herota was hired as director of health information management.
She previously was health information management director at West Hills Hospital in Reno and also had an earlier stint at NNMC from 2008-2012 as executive assistant to the CEO and COO.
Herota earned an associate of science degree in health information technology from Santa Barbara City College and an associate of science degree in biology from Yuba College in Marysville, Calif. Shea is pursuing a bachelor’s of science degree in health information administration from the University of Cincinnati.
Snook was named lab director at NNMC.
Snook previously was lab supervisor at The Medical Center of Aurora/Centennial Medical Plaza in Centennial, Colo.
She received her bachelor’s degree in chemistry and biology from the University of Northern Colorado and her MBA at the University of Denver.
