Local hospitals honored

Renown Regional Medical Center and South Meadows Medical Center have been honored with Pathway to Excellence re-accreditation. The Pathway to Excellence designation is given by the American Nurses Credentialing Center every three years. It is awarded to healthcare organizations that demonstrate dedication to nursing excellence and providing the best patient care possible. Only 135 hospitals nationwide currently have this designation. Renown Regional and South Meadows are the only two hospitals in Nevada – and among just six hospitals on the West Coast – to earn this honor.
