Lorina Daviton has been hired as the telecommunication equipment distribution specialist for the Northern Nevada Center for Independent Living.

Daviton, who has worked with the deaf and hard of hearing since 2007, previously served as a client support specialist and case manager/victim advocate for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Advocacy Resource Center. She is also an American sign language instructor at Truckee Meadows Community College.

Daviton earned her associates degree from Truckee Meadows Community College, and will earn her bachelor’s degree in social work from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2015.
