Mark Bowers

Mark Bowers has been named director of human resources for Desert Research Institute.

Bowers previously spent five years at Sierra Nevada Corp. in Sparks, where he initially served as corporate manager of human resources and then as director of organizational development and HR strategy. He also served eleven years at Raytheon where he advanced from a human resources generalist, to benefits manager and human resources manager. Bowers also worked as a human resources generalist/compensation and benefits manager for Lockheed Martin.

Bowers earned a bachelor’s of science degree from Brigham Young University.
