Mignon Fogarty has been named Donald W. Reynolds Chair in Media Entrepreneurship at the Donald W. Reynolds School of Journalism at the University of Nevada, Reno.
Fogarty has written seven books on language, including a New York Times bestseller. She is also founder of Quick and Dirty Tips, one of the earliest podcasts and has given 25 to 50 interviews per year to the media about language topics and entrepreneurship.
Fogarty earned a bachelor’s of arts degree in English from the University of Washington in Seattle and a master’s of science degree from Stanford University.
