NACE awards

The Reno/Tahoe Chapter of the National Association for Catering and Events who spearheaded the inaugural Impact Awards of Northern Nevada.

Formerly known as the Butterfly Wishes, the Impact Awards recognizes community members who have gone above-and-beyond to promote the region.

Those honorees include: Mark Estee of Campo and Reno Local Food Group, Visionary of the Year; Jennifer Cunningham of Reno-Sparks Convention and Visitors Authority, Travel & Tourism Advocate of the Year; Britton Griffith-Douglas, Community Champion of the Year; and Joe Hart and Shelby Sheehan from KRNV My News Channel 4, Honorary Supporters of the Year.

Stacie Mathewson of Doors to Recovery will be honored with a special Community Advocate of the Year award for her contributions to the nonprofit community in northern Nevada.

Honorees will be recognized at a ceremony on Friday, April 8 at Silver Legacy Resort Casino.
