Oliver, Wickes & Associates, a financial services and wealth management firm in Reno, will award a scholarship to a member of the Girl Scouts of the Sierra Nevada on May 7.
The scholarship award is in honor of the Girls Scouts 100-year anniversary.
The Girl Scouts of the Sierra Nevada will honor its girl members who have earned the highest awards in Girl Scouting during the past year at the annual All That Glitters Awards Ceremony at the Atlantis Casino Resort Spa. Nine girls will receive the esteemed Gold Award, nine will receive their Silver Award, and 97 will receive their Bronze Award. Oliver, Wickes & Associates will award one Gold recipient a $1,000 scholarship to be placed in a 529 college savings plan.
