The Reno Rebuild Project, the campaign that collects nickels from bar and grill transactions and puts them into small-business business loans, is accepting applications for its second loan.
Applications will be accepted through July 31, and can be found at www.renorebuild.com/application.
The Reno Rebuild Fund was created by Michael Connolly, Chris Kahl and Zachary Cage, owners of Legend’s Grill, Sports & Spirits, Sierra Tap House, Ole Bridge Pub and The Brewer’s Cabinet.
They devote 5 cents from each sale at the establishments to the loan fund. Last year, it made its first $20,000 loan to Barry Schuster, owner of Café Deluxe.
