Shannon Chambers

Shannon Chambers has been appointed Nevada labor commissioner effective December 29.

Chambers previously served as the chief financial officer and director of administration for the Department of Business and Industry. She also worked at the Nevada Legislative Counsel Bureau and where she senior staff attorney and deputy attorney general and administrative law judge for the State of California. She has 15 years of legal and administrative experience in public sector employment.

She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Nevada, Reno and a juris doctorate from Pepperdine University.
