Shaw Engineering hires

Scott Mathot and Cody Black have joined the staff of Shaw Engineering.

Mathot was hired as a geotechnical staff engineer.

Mathot previously worked for Goldcorp Inc., as a geological engineer intern.

He graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno with a bachelor’s degree in geological engineering and a minor in hydrogeology.

Black was hired as a civil engineer and project manager.

Black, who has more than 10 years of experience, previously worked for the City of Fernley, managing the city water treatment, water distribution, streets and storm drains.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from UNR.
