Shawn Elicegui, Carolyn Barbash

Shawn Elicegui and Carolyn Barbash has been promoted by NV Energy.

Elicegui has been promoted to senior vice president of regulation and strategic planning. He joined the company in 2009 as associate general counsel and most recently was vice president of regulation. He also was a shareholder at the law firm of Lionel, Sawyer & Collins.

Elicegui graduated from the University of Nevada Reno and earned his juris doctorate from the University of California, Davis.

Barbash began working for the company in 1989 as an engineering intern. She progressed to a number of management positions, including director, transmission planning/business development; executive, transmission; executive, gas distribution; and most recently executive, transmission project delivery.

Barbash earned her masters of business administration and bachelor’s of science degrees in electrical engineering from University Nevada Reno.
