The Truckee Meadows Community College Safety Center has been re-accredited by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency through 2017 to provide lead-handling training to contractors.
The center, which rained and certified more than 1,000 people in Nevada, California, Utah and Wyoming in this specialized area, now is targeting the South Lake Tahoe for education about the hazards of lead-based paint and the need for certified contractors
