Wendy Firestone Rebecca Allured

Wendy Firestone and Rebecca Allured have joined the staff of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northern Nevada.

Firestone, who previously worked with Girl Scouts of the Sierra Nevada, was named fund development director. She has worked with nonprofits for more than 20 years, including 10 years of fund development and communications work with groups including Washoe ARC and Note-Able Music Therapy Services.

Allured was named marketing and communications manager. She most recently worked as a production manager for KPS3 Marketing and also previously worked at Olsen & Associates Public Relations.

Both Firestone and Allured are graduates of the University of Nevada, Reno, Reynolds School of Journalism.
