The following information applies to the period of Oct. 24-30:
Work will continue on the Downtown Corridor improvement project on Carson Street. For details regarding traffic impacts, refer to the Cone Zone in the Nevada Appeal, or go to www.carsonproud.com. These sources are updated weekly throughout the duration of the project.
Lane closures with traffic controls are at the following locations due to utility/road work:
U.S. 395 between Old Clear Creek Road and Snyder Avenue will have single and double lane closures in both directions between Monday-Thursday, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.
U.S. 395 between Old Clear Creek Road and Snyder Avenue will have a single northbound lane closed between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m. weekdays.
Snyder Avenue at the intersection of Bigelow Drive will be reduced to one lane from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday.
College Parkway access onto and off I-580 will have lane reductions from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday.
Research Way and College Parkway intersection will have traffic controls with single lane closures from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. weekdays. Turning movements from Research Way onto College Parkway will be limited to right in and right out only.
Street parking will be restricted on Minnesota Street between Second and Third streets for all hours on Tuesday.
Street parking will be restricted on Third Street from Division to Nevada streets for all hours on Tuesday.
Street parking will be restricted on Second Street from Minnesota to Thompson streets for all hours on Tuesday.
Road closures expected at the following locations due to utility/road work. Drivers are asked to follow detours.
Robinson Street will be closed between Fall and Stewart streets from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Thursday.
Topsy Lane will be closed between Center Drive and U.S. 395 for all hours Monday-Sunday; local traffic only.
Bigelow Drive will be closed to through traffic at Snyder Avenue from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Tuesday.
Jeanell Drive will have Intermittent closures from Michael Drive to Winnie Lane from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Thursday.
