Talk of the Town: Welcoming spirit of Halloween

Do you feel the spirit?

It’s almost Halloween.

Have your candy ready

Ghosts and goblins will be seen.

If you really want to

On the west side of town

There’s a yearly ghost walk

Where old spirits can be found.

I love this fall season

When a nip is in the air.

The colors are so vibrant

You can see them everywhere.

Kids are trick-or-treating

The spirit’s in the air.

Go to the Governor’s Mansion

Governor Sandoval will greet you there.

Sometimes it’s cold.

Sometimes it’s not.

Bundle up under your costume

Or you’ll be “Chiller” in the plot.

I always liked Snickers, M&M’s too.

Yes, peanut butter cups

Actually, just chocolate will do.

Well, now we are adults.

No more of this.

Just hoping for leftover candy

Or perhaps a good night “KISS.”

(Chocolate, that is).
