Care Flight announced the launch of its new website at www.remsacareflight.com. Care Flight is a critical care transport provider, operating throughout northern Nevada and northeastern California.
The site was designed by KPS3, a Reno-based marketing communications agency specializing in the digital space. KPS3 designed and launched Care Flight’s website as a pro-bono, community benefit project for the non-profit air ambulance service.
The main navigation of the site sets apart key resources and information for Care Flight’s user agencies including hospitals requesting interagency transfers, as well as other first responders. Medical and requesting criteria are clearly listed making access to life-saving, evidence-based healthcare fast and easy.
The site includes new, large format, detail photos that punctuate each page and draw attention to the expert work of Care Flight’s clinical, aviation, telecommunications and administrative crews. Visitors to the site will learn more about Care Flight’s transport services, expanded scopes of practice, geographical service area, accreditations and recent news updates. The site offers in-depth information about the nuances of flying a rotor-wing aircraft in the high-desert and Care Flight’s safety protocols.
“This website resets the standards for emergency medical services websites throughout the industry,” said Dean Dow, President and CEO, REMSA (Regional Emergency Medical Services Authority), Care Flight’s parent company in a press release. “The site has the medical and requesting information that is critical for our first responder partners and it features stunning photography that shows the breadth of our crews’ abilities. We feel the website succeeds at providing relevant and engaging content, presented in an organized and intuitive way.”
This new website also offers education resources and recruitment information. Care Flight’s clinical crews can access and register for related continuing education courses. For job-seekers, the Careers link emphasizes the rewarding nature of a career in emergency medical services and highlights Care Flight’s competitive compensation and benefits information.
“Specifically, the Careers section has information about openings and benefits,” said Dow, “yet the entire site really can be considered a recruitment tool. Every page conveys the quality, passion and dedication of the Care Flight team.”
KPS3 and REMSA/Care Flight are equally excited to present the site. REMSA was KPS3’s first client and all three businesses are celebrating milestone anniversaries this year -- KPS3 marks its 25th year in business, REMSA observes its 30th anniversary and Care Flight, its 35th anniversary.
