Carson City road report for Sept. 5-11

The following information applies to the period of Sept. 5-11:

Work will continue on the Downtown Corridor improvement project on Carson Street. For details regarding traffic impacts, refer to the Cone Zone in the Nevada Appeal, or go to www.carsonproud.com. These sources are updated weekly throughout the duration of the project.

Lane closures are planned on U.S. 395 between Clear Creek and Snyder avenues on northbound lanes between 6 a.m. and 9 p.m. There will be no lane closures during the Labor Day weekend.

Lane closures with traffic controls are at the following locations due to utility/road work:

Evening lane closures on S. Carson Street between Fairview Drive and Overland Street, Tuesday-Friday, 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.

E. Long Street between Roop Street and Marian Avenue, Tuesday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Center Drive south of Clear Creek Avenue near Topsy Lane, Tuesday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Arrowhead Drive between Goni Road and the freeway, Tuesday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Shouldering work on Arrowhead Drive between Imus Road and Emerson Drive, Tuesday-Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Race Track Road between Bigelow and Schulz drives, weekdays for all hours; local traffic only.

Road closures are expected for all hours Monday through Sunday on Topsy Lane between Center Drive and U.S. 395. Local traffic only; please follow detours.
