Carson City medical marijuana dispensary ribbon cutting

Green Thumb Industries (GTI) is pleased to announce the ribbon cutting ceremony for RISE Carson City, the state capital’s first medical marijuana dispensary located at 135 Clearview Dr. #119 in Carson City, Nevada. The ceremony will take place on Thursday, September 8 at 11:00 am with a special guest appearance by former Baltimore Ravens star Eugene Monroe. Public is invited to attend.

GTI looks forward to showing a dedicated commitment to the community by working with local community leaders and the municipality to offer a safe and secure facility designed with patient access and community health in mind. “We are excited to begin operating in Nevada this fall, and to serve the patients in the community of Carson City, Nevada and beyond,” GTI’s CEO Pete Kadens said. Kadens began his career in solar energy before deciding to realign his purpose by entering the medical marijuana industry and advocating for the rights of people who have unfairly faced criminal prosecution for cannabis.

Following the ribbon cutting ceremony, public tours guided by General Manager Tyler Brennan will be available at 11:30 am. No product will be on site for the tours and ribbon cutting. RISE Carson City’s Grand Opening will be Friday, September 16.
