Wells Fargo Main, 2424 S. Carson St., for their simple landscape that is water wise and contains color most of the year. The well-tended rose bushes make for a warm welcome and soften the modern look of the building. The trees in spring are breathtaking in their full bloom and the pampas grass offers an interesting visual balance. There is rarely a weed to be seen.
Resource Concepts, Inc. is an engineering firm inhabiting one of the most historic homes in the downtown historic Kit Carson Blue Line district. The fence is always clean and in good repair. The lawn is mowed and the bushes neatly trimmed. For history buffs, this site is best known as the former site of the Central School, razed by Dr. Simeon Lemuel Lee who repurposed the lumber from the school to build his mansion. The house was sold by Lee’s widow to Judge Clark Guild who brought the Nevada Day Parade to Carson City and was the founder of the Nevada State Museum. RCI has lovingly maintained the property inside and out since 1978.
This property begs to be photographed. 340 N. Minnesota St.
