Carson City road report for April 24-30, 2017

The following information applies to the period of April 24-30:

Road closures are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work. Caution is advised:

Phillips Street just north of Robinson Street will be closed Monday-Thursday

Sophia Street will be closed between Carson and Plaza streets from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays

Spear Street will be closed between Fall and Stewart streets from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday-Wednesday

Lane closures or restrictions are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work:

U.S. 50 at the U.S. 395 intersection will be reduced to one lane in each direction through the month for freeway improvements (travel delays are expected on S. Carson Street near the U.S. 50 Spooner junction)

S. Carson Street between Clear Creek and Snyder avenues will have a single northbound lane closure from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays

S. Carson Street between Clear Creek and Snyder Avenues will have a single southbound lane closure from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Wednesday

Stewart Street will have single lane closures between Carson and William streets from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Thursday

Sonoma Street between Saliman Road and Halleck Drive will have narrowed lanes from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday

Plaza Street will have the southbound lane closed between William and Sophia streets from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays
