Carson City road report for Aug. 7-13, 2017

The following information applies to the period of Aug. 7-13:

The I-580 freeway extension is open.

Road closures are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work. Detours will be in place:

Division Street will be closed between Bath Street and Winnie lane from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday. Residential access only.

Proctor Street will be closed between Carson and Plaza streets from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. weekdays.

Lane closures or restrictions expected at the following locations due to road/utility work. Caution is advised.

Silver Oak Drive will be reduced to a single lane between Vista Lane and Carson Street from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday-Wednesday.

Airport Road will be reduced to a single lane between Woodside and Douglas drives from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday.

Lewis Street will be reduced to a single lane between Colorado Street and Pat Lane from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday-Friday.

Hamilton Avenue will be reduced to a single lane between Belmont Avenue and Hamilton Court from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday-Friday.

Koontz Lane will have single lane closures between Edmunds Drive and Carson Street from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Thursday.

Koontz Lane and Silver Sage Drive intersection will have lane restrictions from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday.

The multi-use path located on Fifth Street between Fairview Drive and Airport Road will be closed until September.

The Brewery Arts Center’s summer concert series will close Second Street from Minnesota to Thompson streets from 5 to 11 p.m. Saturday.
