Anooshehpoor
Dr. Khadijeh (Homa) Anooshehpoor has joined the Nevada Department of Agriculture as Food and Nutrition division administrator.
Anooshehpoor, who has more than 20 years of state service and teaching experience, most recently she served as assistant director of the Nevada Department of Education’s School Improvement program. She also spent several years teaching coursework related to race, class and gender, family, sociology and social inequalities at the University of Nevada, Reno and Arizona State University.
She has her Ph.D. from ASU, a master of arts from San Diego State University and a bachelor of arts from the University of Shiraz, Iran, all in sociology.
