Ametherm, a company headquartered in Carson City, introduced a new calculators page to its website.
Ametherm specializes in thermistors for temperature sensing and inrush current limiting in industrial, automotive, AMS (avionics, military and space) and many other markets.
On its new calculator page, a thermistor’s beta value indicates the shape of the curve representing the relationship between the device’s resistance and temperature. Beta value is used to calculate temperature coefficient of the thermistor, which in turn, is used in calculating the temperature accuracy of the thermistor.
