MRG Marketing & Management Inc., Southwest franchise partner of Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers, continues its expansion in Nevada, opening its second Reno location and 14th Nevada restaurant. The newest location will open Sept. 7, at 2175 N. Virginia Street, across from the University of Nevada Reno.
Raising Cane’s is known for its chicken finger meals and is one of the nation’s fastest growing restaurants, leading and supporting each community it serves.
A grand opening ribbon-cutting will take place at 9 a.m. with plans to donate 100 percent of the profits from the grand opening day to the Washoe County Family Engagement Center.
The Washoe County Family Engagement Center will open this fall in a renovated building at 905 E. Prater Way in Sparks. The Center will provide a safe and secure environment for children who have been victims of abuse and neglect. The multi-use facility will feature an open, natural environment to accommodate children of all ages. The center will feature a large indoor/outdoor visitation area, playground and ample parking.
Raising Cane’s encourages its Reno Caniacs to take part in opening day festivities with guests Wolfie and Wolf Pack Athletics. The first 100 Caniacs in line will receive a free Box Combo and a commemorative gift, with 10 lucky guests chosen at random to win free Cane’s for a year!
“With the success of our first Reno location and the rapid growth of Washoe County, we knew there was a demand for another Raising Cane’s restaurant,” President of MRG Marketing & Management, Inc., Justin Micatrotto, said. “We are proud to partner with Washoe County to offer financial support for the new Family Engagement Center that will provide valuable services to the community.”
The new location will be open daily at 9 a.m.
