The Friends of ArrowCreek LLC announced that on Wednesday, Aug. 30, they will be making their final bi-annual payment of $126,854.83 to Washoe County. This payment represents the 20 year commitment of making bi-annual payments for the Special Assessment District created in 1997 for the ArrowCreek development. The Special Assessment District was created for the purpose of roads, sewer maintenance and the reclamation water system.
Gary Pestello, Member Manager of the Friends of ArrowCreek stated, “The Friends of ArrowCreek and The Club at ArrowCreek are very pleased to make the last of the bi-annual $126,854.83 payment for the Special Assessment District to Washoe County. We would like to thank Washoe County for their cooperation and especially thank our investors and club members that make everything possible”.
“We continue to enjoy the growth in members and new neighbors to the ArrowCreek community. We look forward to the many more years to come,” said Jayson Petersen, General Manager of The Club at ArrowCreek.
Washoe County Commissioner Bob Lucey concluded with, “The Friends of ArrowCreek continue to be an excellent partner with Washoe County. They have set specific goals in staying in good standing with Washoe County, today marks another one of those markers. May they continue to grow and provide the quality of life we all enjoy in Northern Nevada.”
The ArrowCreek community is located in South Reno and consists of a master planned community and two 18-hole golf courses with a clubhouse. Arnold Palmer Golf Management oversees the clubhouse and both private golf courses. The legendary Palmer was the designer of the Legend Course, while the Challenge Course was designed by John Harbottle and 1979 Masters champion Fuzzy Zoeller.
