The following information applies to the period of July 17-23:
Road closures expected at the following locations due to road/utility work. Drivers are asked to follow detours:
City wide lane line striping removal and restriping will be conducted from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. weekdays.
College Parkway will have narrowed lanes between Nye Lane and Airport Road from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday.
E. King Street will be closed to through traffic between Valley and Roop streets from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.
Nevada Street will be closed between Bath and Meyers streets from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday. Resident access only.
Meyers Street will be closed between Division and Nevada streets from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday. Resident access only.
Lane closures or restrictions expected at the following locations due to road/utility work. Caution is advised:
I-580 southbound will be reduced to one lane, south of the Fifth Street bridge, until the freeway extension opens.
The I-580 northbound on-ramp from Fairview Drive eastbound will be reduced to one lane permanently.
U.S. 50 at the U.S. 395 intersection will be reduced to one lane in each direction until further notice for freeway improvements (travel delays are expected on S. Carson Street near the U.S. 50 Spooner junction).
S. Carson Street will be reduced to one lane in each direction between Clear Creek and Snyder avenues from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. weekdays.
W. College Parkway will have single lane closures between Carson Street and North Ormsby Boulevard from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Thursday.
Medical Parkway will have single lane closures between Carson Street and Presti Lane from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Thursday.
Koontz Lane and Silver Sage Drive intersection will have lane restrictions from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday.
The following street closures are planned to accommodate several community events:
Minnesota Street to Thompson Street will be closed from 5 to 11 p.m. Saturday for the Brewery Arts Center’s summer concert series.
Curry Street will be closed between Telegraph and Spear streets from 5:30 to 11:30 p.m. Friday for a Carson High School reunion.
Taste of Downtown will close the following roads from 10 a.m. to midnight Saturday:
Curry Street between Spear and King streets
Musser Street between Nevada and Carson streets
Proctor Street between Curry and Plaza streets
Telegraph Street between Nevada and Plaza streets
Fourth Street between Carson and Curry streets
