Carson City road report for June 5-11

The following information applies to the period of June 5-11:

The following roads will be closed for the Capital City Brewfest from 2 to 11:30 p.m. June 10:

Carson Street, between Musser and Fifth streets

Curry Street, between Musser and Fifth streets

Second Street, between Carson and Curry streets

Fourth Street, between Carson and Curry streets

Road closures expected at the following locations due to road/utility work. Detours will be in place:

Northridge Drive will be closed from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday to install a roundabout between Wilma Way and Ravenshorn Drive

Ridgecrest Drive will be closed from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday to install a roundabout between Oxbow Lane and Northfield Drive

Nevada Street will be closed between Fleischmann Way and Bath Street from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday

Lane closures or restrictions expected at the following locations due to road/utility work. Caution is advised:

U.S. 50 at the U.S. 395 intersection will be reduced to one lane in each direction until further notice for freeway improvements (travel delays are expected on S. Carson Street near the U.S. Highway 50-Spooner junction)

S. Carson Street will have a single northbound lane closed between Clear Creek and Snyder avenues from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays

The Interstate 580 northbound ramp from Fairview Drive will be reduced to one lane from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays

Baker Drive will be reduced to a single lane with flaggers between Rolando Way and Sonoma Street from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday

Applegate Way will be reduced to a single lane with flaggers between Imperial Way and Northgate Lane from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday

Fifth Street will have single lane closures between Saliman Road and Fairview Drive from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Thursday

Racetrack Road will be reduced to a single lane with flaggers between Schulz Drive and Saddlehorn Road from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday-Friday
