The Great Reno Balloon Race (GRBR) is accepting applications from businesses, service groups, nonprofit organizations and individuals to join its team of volunteers. Fondly referred to as the Aeronauts, this choice group of individuals makes up GRBR’s membership-based volunteer group.
The Aeronauts are an integral part of the event with access to behind-the-scenes community involvement, assisting pilots in preparing hot-air balloons for flight, serving as chase crews, field set-up/tear-down, working the merchandise tent, and providing security. GRBR provides Aeronauts with a variety of training courses and the opportunity to be a part of one of the region’s most celebrated events.
This is a great opportunity for businesses, service groups and nonprofit organizations to work in a collaborative environment. GRBR will set-up partnership packages to fit each organization and business’ goals and objectives for community involvement.
