First Baptist Missions Conference continues this weekend

First Baptist Church’s 2017 Missions Conference continues today and Sunday.

The conference will continue this morning, beginning at 9:30 a.m. with a continental breakfast. Featured speakers will be Luis Santoni of Reno/Sparks Gospel Mission at 10 a.m. and Mike Bivins of Southern Baptist Disaster Relief at 11. Lunch will be provided at noon.

Then at 1 p.m., Ed Giddons of International Missions, Latvia, will be the featured speaker. The conference will close the day with Eddie Miller leading a question and answer symposium at 2 p.m.

The conference concludes on Sunday with missionaries leading Bible studies at 9:30 a.m. The main service at 10:45 a.m. will feature Darwin Meighan, the Nevada Baptist Convention Director for Revitalization and Evangelism. A fellowship meal will follow the main service at noon.

There’s no charge to attend the conference and the public is invited. First Baptist Church is located at 1750 Mountain St., Carson City.
