Nevada gaming win down 4 percent in February

Nevada’s nonrestricted gaming licensees reported a total “gaming win” of $945,597,573 for the month of February 2017. This amounts to a 4.48% decrease compared to February 2016, when licensees reported a gaming win of $989,909,589. For the fiscal year (July 1, 2016 through February 28, 2017), gaming win has increased 2.71%.
Percentage Fee Collections for the Month of March 2017 The State collected $51,986,240 in percentage fees during the month of March 2017 (percentage fee collections are through March 27) based upon the taxable revenues generated in February 2017. This represents a 2.87% (or $1,449,263) increase compared to the prior year’s March, when percentage fee collections were $50,536,977.
