Carson City road report for May 15-21

The following information applies to the period of May 15-21:

Road closures expected at the following locations due to road/utility work. Caution is advised:

Northridge Drive between Wilma Way and Ravenshorn Drive and Ridgecrest Drive near Northridge Drive will be closed for approximately three weeks to install a roundabout

Phillips Street just north of Robinson Street will be closed until work is completed

Sophia Street will be closed between Carson and Plaza streets from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays

Fleischmann Way will be closed between Nevada and Curry streets from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday-Friday

Musser Street between Pratt to Harbin avenues and the intersection of Harbin Avenue and Musser Street will be closed from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday for an event

Lane closures or restrictions are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work. Drivers are asked to use caution:

U.S. 50 at the U.S. 395 intersection will be reduced to one lane in each direction until further notice for freeway improvements (travel delays are expected on S. Carson Street near the U.S. 50 Spooner junction)

North and southbound S. Carson Street, between Clear Creek and Snyder avenues, will have single and double lane closures from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. weekdays

Airport Road will be reduced to a single lane with flaggers between Menlo and Woodside drives from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Tuesday

Mountain Street will be reduced to a single lane with flaggers between Winnie Lane and Ivy Street from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday

Plaza Street between William and Sophia streets will have the southbound lane closed from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays

Airport Road will have single lane closures between College Parkway and U.S. 50 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Thursday

Arrowhead Drive between Imus Road and Garnet Way will be reduced to a single lane with flaggers with possible extended wait times from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays
