Lyon County Sheriff’s Office searching for missing woman

The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating 57-year-old Nancy Vandenput of Fernley.

Vandenput was last seen in the Jason Court area of Fernley at around 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday. She hasn’t been seen or heard from since.

Vandenput was seen driving a 2006 Chevrolet pickup, silver in color, with Nevada license place VM3783. There’s also a USMC Bulldog sticker on the rear of the truck. She’s known to have ties to the Reno area.

Vandenput is a white female, approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing 101 pounds. She has green eyes and wears glasses. She has sandy blonde hair. Vandenput was last seen wearing a flannel jacket of unknown color.
