Pyramid/McCarran roadway completion now depends on weather

The final stages of the Pyramid/McCarran Intersection Improvement Project in Sparks and the gateway to Spanish Springs, is getting closer, but completion is weather-dependent. Construction crews will be working on open-grade paving at and around this intersection from Wednesday, Oct. 4 through Friday, Oct. 6. Detours will be provided, but drivers are strongly encouraged to use alternate routes. Drivers can expect up to 30-minute delays in this area while crews are paving. A paving schedule is provided below, but the schedule is subject to change depending on construction operations. Paving Schedule is below (updated from earlier today): Wednesday, Oct. 4: Queen Way, Wedekind Road, Lepori Way, Farr Lane Thursday, Oct. 5: McCarran Blvd. from 4th Street to Rock Blvd. (Center Lane) Friday, Oct. 6: McCarran Blvd. from 4th Street to Rock Blvd. (Outside Lanes) Tuesday, Oct. 10: Pyramid Way from York Way to north of Queen Way (Inside Lanes) Wednesday, Oct. 11: Pyramid Way from York Way to north of Queen Way (Outside Lanes)
