One individual and one organization in Northern Nevada were recognized with 2017 Governor’s Points of Light Awards presented by Nevada Volunteers, the Governor’s Commission on Service.
Dr. Paul Brosy of Reno was presented the Individual Volunteer: Northern Nevada award.
The Nevada Rural RSVP Veterans VIP Program of Carson City won the Volunteer Program Serving Veterans award.
The Governor’s Points of Light Awards honor individuals, community-based organizations and businesses for their contribution to communities through volunteer service.
