Carson City Rifle, Pistol Range has new schedule

The Carson City Rifle and Pistol Range will have a modified schedule for its Covered and Prone 300 Yard Rifle Line, effective immediately.

The Rifle Line will be open Sundays only, until further notice. The Covered 50 yard Pistol Line and four private shooting bays will remain open and unaffected by this temporary change.

Rifle and pistol range winter hours will be:

Covered 50 yard pistol line and private shooting bays: 6 a.m.-6 p.m. daily.

Rifle Line (300 yard): 6 a.m.-6 p.m. Sundays only, closed Mondays through Saturdays.

The range is located at 4000 Flint Dr. on the south end of Rifle Range Road. Cost is free
