The Carson City Fire Department is conducting pile burn operations in Vicee Canyon in the Timberline area, according to a Twitter statement from the department’s account.
Operations may continue through Jan. 31, depending on weather.
For the duration of the scheduled operations, prescribed burning will only be conducted when conditions are favorable.
