Nevada State Bank recently hired two branch managers for its Northern Nevada team: Jennifer King was named vice president, branch manager at 1 W. Liberty St. in downtown Reno, and Allen Archie was named vice president, branch manager for the Sparks/Prater location at 500 E. Prater Way.
According to a July 30 press release, King has 18 years of banking experience, including past positions as branch manager/small business banker.
She is affiliated with EDAWN, The Reno/Sparks Chamber, LEAD for Women, and the Asian Leadership Group, among various volunteer and nonprofit endeavors. King obtained a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from Walla Walla University and received her B.S. in Business Management in 2019.
“Jennifer excelled in business development, operations and client relations, earning multiple top-performer awards while coaching her team to success at her previous institution. I’m thrilled she’s on our team,” Debby Herman, senior vice president and retail region manager at Nevada State Bank, said in a statement.
Archie has more than 20 years in the industry, and previously worked at Nevada State Bank as a personal banker and branch manager before relocating. He recently volunteered with Blue Star Mothers, where he created military care packages and raised money. He also volunteered with the HOW Foundation, helping men recover from addiction and re-enter society.
“I’m so excited that Allen has returned to NSB, where he earned multiple awards and served as mentor and peer trainer for new managers and colleagues,” Herman stated.
