Reno-based professional services firm Keystone CPAs recently acquired Martis Valley Accounting (MVA), effective July 1.
“As businesses prosper in Northern Nevada, they need more robust services,” Mike Bosma, managing principal of Keystone CPAs, said in an Aug. 5 press release. “MVA and Keystone CPAs provide a platform to tap into deep talent and many more capabilities, should a need arise. Most importantly, both firms share our entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to serving privately held businesses and their owners.”
Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
According to the release, the combined firm “will be among the largest professional services firms in Northern Nevada that focuses exclusively on closely held businesses.”
Esther Fisher founded Martis Valley Accounting in 2007 with a focus on serving small- and medium-sized business. She will continue to serve clients locally from Keystone CPAs Reno office.
“Business owners in Northern Nevada want and need sophisticated, proactive planning, Fisher said in a statement. “Keystone CPAs has created a platform to better connect business owners and the professionals they need to help achieve the success they desire.”
