Papé Kenworth acquires pair of Sparks dealerships

Eugene, Oregon-based Papé Kenworth announced last week the completed purchase of Sparks companies Worthen Equipment Company and Western Nevada Kenworth.


Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Effective June 21, both dealerships at 8640 Canyon River Court Drive in Sparks were renamd Papé Kenworth, a division of Papé. They join a network of more than 20 Papé Kenworth locations in nine western states, from Alaska to California.

“For over 80 years, our family has focused on building a company committed to delivering consistent, quality customer service, backed by the most reliable brands in our industries” Jordan Papé, president and CEO of Papé, said in a statement. “We look forward to adding Kenworth heavy and medium duty trucks to the John Deere, Hyster, Yale, and Ditch Witch solutions we offer in Western Nevada.”

Founded in 1938, Papé is a holding company for capital equipment dealerships throughout the West. Its businesses sell, rent, and service the premier brands of capital equipment used in the construction, agricultural, turf, forestry, trucking and warehousing/materials handling industries.
