Liberty Group of Nevada, Inc. recently announced Kathryn Guthrie as a licensed business broker at the company’s downtown Reno office.
According to a Feb. 22 press release, Guthrie will consult with business owners to market and sell their business to qualified buyers, represent buyers to assist them in finding the right business ownership opportunity and provide business valuation assessments. Guthrie brings more than 16 years of entrepreneurial experience to her role as broker.
After successfully selling Real Property Management Sac-Metro in 2019, Guthrie has committed her time and talent to helping small business owners build value and sell their businesses.
Her services as a coach have been used to compliment the transaction services that she provides as a business broker.
“Kathryn sincerely believes that an educated client has a better outcome,” Liberty Group of Nevada Founder Brad Bottoset said in a statement. “She is a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA) through the Exit Planning Institute and is also a certified Value Builder Consultant. We are thrilled that Liberty Group of Nevada will be able to offer expanded services helping small business owners build value and plan for successful future exit.”
Guthrie received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Davis in Davis. She holds a Real Estate Broker’s license in Nevada and California, is a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA) and a Certified Value Builder Advisor.
She also is active in the 4-H program, holding various positions since 2014, including Community Club Leader, Council Secretary, Committee Member, event chair.
