Greater Nevada Credit Union announced its 2021 Board of Directors during the credit union’s 72nd annual meeting, held virtually on March 9. Bill Arensdorf, who’s been a GNCU member since 1972, will serve as board chair this year; Arensdorf, retired, is former director for fiscal accountability for the Nevada Department of Education, according to a March 15 press release. At the meeting, board secretary Jon Steele and treasurer Travis Lee were re-elected to those positions. Steele, a managing member of Steele & Associates LLC, has been GNCU member since 1997. Lee is a testing & training and release manager with the state of Nevada and has been a GNCU member since 2011. Other directors this year include:
Vice Chair Rob Joiner, member since 1984, is an associate with Nevada Premier Commercial.
Director Marsha Burgess, a member since 1975, is a retired CEO of Greater Nevada Credit Union.
Director Barbara Byington, a member since 1983, is a retired Douglas County assessor.
Director Paul Richey, a member since 1979, is a retired business manager.
GNCU’s Board of Directors is comprised of member-volunteers who also represent its wholly owned subsidiaries, Greater Nevada Mortgage, Greater Commercial Lending and Greater Nevada Insurance.
