Brooke Barraza of Reno-based Nevada Commercial Services, Inc., recently received the IREM, Institute of Real Estate Management, Accredited Commercial Manager (ACoM) designation.
Barraza currently serves as a Property Manager for Nevada Commercial Services, Inc., managing various commercial properties in the region.
She joined the company in 2017 as an Administrative Assistant; moved up to Assistant Property Manager; and eventually obtained her real estate license, allowing her to move to a Property Manager in 2019.
Prior to NCS, she worked in various roles at Associa Sierra North, Renown Health and Tanamera Commercial Development, among other positions.
The ACoM is awarded to those who meet the standards set by IREM for commercial real estate professionals, according to a March 18 press release.
An intensive schedule of classes and an examination, plus at least one year of industry experience are among the stringent criteria required to become an ACoM.
IREM is an international community of real estate managers dedicated to ethical business practices, maximizing the value of investment real estate, and promoting superior management through education and information sharing.
