Regional CPA and business advisory firm Eide Bailly LLP, which has a main branch in Reno, recently announced the winners of its 2021 Nonprofit “Resourcefullness” Awards, recognizing creative and sustainable revenue ideas from nonprofits in Arizona, Colorado, Minnesota, Nevada and North Dakota.
Five grant prize winners in each state received $10,000, including Community Chest, Inc., a Virginia City-based nonprofit that serves children and families in Northern Nevada. A sixth nonprofit in Arizona also earned a $5,000 honorable mention award, according to an Oct. 22 press release.
“We are proud to continue showing our commitment to the nonprofit community through the Eide Bailly Resourcefullness Award,” Deb Nelson, Partner-in-Charge of Eide Bailly’s nonprofit group, said in a statement. “The innovative and creative ideas that are shared each year continue to inspire us.”
Judges for this year’s awards were composed of various nonprofit leaders in the accounting firm’s five states, including Chris Askin, President & CEO of the Community Foundation of Western Nevada.
