Nevada State Bank on Oct. 19 announced the promotions of Elizabeth Henriquez to assistant vice president, sales manager of Nevada State Bank’s Client Acquisition Group; and Brandon York to vice president, business development sales manager, for the bank’s retail division.

“Both of these promotions are well-deserved, as Brandon and Elizabeth have built strong foundations in their roles at NSB and contributed to the bank’s success through hard work, while helping their fellow colleagues and communities,” Craig Kirkland, executive vice president, retail banking director, said in a statement.

Henriquez joined NSB in 2017, bringing a strong background in banking, as she previously held positions as relationship banker and operations manager for Chase Bank and Bank of America.

In 2019 she was promoted to supervisor of NSB’s client acquisition group, and she participated in the bank’s Mentor Program from 2019-2021, according to an Oct. 19 press release. Henriquez is also the chair of the Amigos of Nevada State Bank Diversity Forum, which provides support, education and advocacy to bank colleagues.

Brandon York

York joined NSB in 2018 as a branch manager and since has been promoted twice, to business banking officer, and now his current position. He has held previous roles with Chase Bank and Bank of America, including teller and branch manager, and has 17 years of banking experience.

York has a bachelor’s degree in business with an emphasis in accounting from the University of Phoenix. He also volunteers for the Cub Scout program and Scout program for Goolsby Elementary School.
