City National Bank announced this month it recently donates $8,000 to four nonprofit and community-based organizations in Northern Nevada: For The Kids, Nevada Women’s Fund, Noah’s Animal House and RAVE.

According to a Nov. 1 press release, the money will help these organizations “continue to provide for the communities during these unprecedented times.”

Throughout 2021, City National has provided monetary support of over $208,000 to several nonprofits in Nevada, via financial, in-kind and volunteer assistance. Main areas of the bank’s community outreach include education, health and human services, community development, and arts and culture.

“City National has continued to provide monetary support to many nonprofit organizations throughout Nevada since the beginning of COVID-19. We continue to look for opportunities to support our local nonprofit community with monetary, in-kind and volunteer support,” Paul Stowell, Nevada regional executive for City National, said in a statement. “Now more than ever with the holidays upon us, our community involvement and support is needed to help those families, individuals and organizations who find themselves severely impacted.”
