TSK Architects announced Nov. 10 the addition of Kolby Harpstead as a new architect at the firm’s Reno office.

Harpstead joins TSK from United Construction and has a master’s degree in architecture from North Dakota State University. Harpstead has over nine years of experience in the field and is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), according to a Nov. 10 press release.

“We are excited to have Kolby as the newest addition to our Reno team of architects,” Windom Kimsey, president and CEO of TSK, said in a statement. “Kolby’s skills set spans the entire architectural process with extensive experience in working with clients to reach their goals. We are excited to have someone with his background join TSK and look forward to working together to exceed our clients’ expectations.”

Harpstead’s role at TSK will include engaging with clients on development of construction projects and building relationships that lead to future partnerships, among other duties.

Harpstead recently moved to the Reno area with his wife, Amanda, from Sacramento. In addition to being passionate about architectural design, he enjoys woodworking, sailing, traveling and the great outdoors.
