PBS Reno last month announced the addition of two new employees: Maria Glanzmann and Megan Lee Aguas. As PBS Reno Education Manager, Glanzmann communicates with PBS Reno’s numerous facilitators who visit classrooms in Washoe County, Carson City, Douglas County and surrounding communities, according to a Sept. 21 press release. Glanzmann has more than 20 years of experience with the Washoe County School District. “I am grateful to be a part of the Education Team at PBS Reno,” Glanzmann said in a statement. “I was drawn to PBS Reno because of the amazing impact we have in our community. The educational resources we bring to the students in our viewing area have positive outcomes which enhance the lives of those we reach. I hope to utilize my love of teaching and learning at PBS Reno to continue the good work already being done here.”

In her role as PBS Reno Digital Marketing Assistant, Aguas collaborates with PBS Reno’s Digital and Marketing teams to create engaging content on the station’s website and social media platforms. Aguas graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno, and has been active in the theatre and arts communities in Reno, Las Vegas and Chicago. “I’m so excited to join the PBS Reno team and can’t thank everyone at the station enough for making me feel so welcome,” Aguas stated. “I’m eager to learn from and contribute to not just the digital marketing team, but to the station as a whole.”
