Radial, an omnichannel commerce technology and operations company, recently announced plans to hire more than 500 entry-level seasonal workers at its Reno fulfillment center to support increased demand for the 2021 holiday season. According to an Oct. 12 press release, seasonal workers will be responsible for processing online orders, including picking, sorting, packing and shipping. “Recent consumer research conducted by Radial reveals that 65% of shoppers plan to either increase or spend the same on online purchases during the holidays this year compared to 2020,” according to the release. Radial hires seasonal workers at its 25 fulfillment centers across the U.S. around this time each year.
The company’s Northern Nevada fulfillment center is located at 2777 USA Parkway in McCarran.
Per the release, workers are eligible for “competitive hourly wages and opportunities for overtime,” adding that, “for individuals seeking long-term employment, Radial plans to offer significant opportunities to convert into full-time positions this year.
