People: Jason Wyatt joins Nevada Real Estate Division in ombudsman role

The Nevada Real Estate Division recently announced Jason Wyatt was named to the dual role of Ombudsman for Owners in Common-Interest Communities and Condominium Hotels Ombudsman.

Wyatt will be responsible for leading the office created to assist homeowners and board members in common-interest communities “to better understand their rights and obligations under the law and their governing documents,” according to a Sept. 3 press release.

Wyatt began his career with the U.S. Department of Energy with government contractor Donald Clark and Associates. He has also worked for various agencies, including Clark County Child and Family Services, Westcare and Economic Opportunity Board of Clark County.

For the past two decades, Wyatt has worked in the insurance industry in various roles, including management and leadership positions at companies such as Travelers Insurance, AAA Insurance and Sierra Health Services.
