Reno-based marketing and communications firm KPS3 recently hired Billy Ruecker and Jessie Sublette as search and digital media specialists.
Ruecker hails from the fintech world, where he helped a local startup grow an invoicing app, as well as led the charge in the development of a social media app as a project manager, according to a Sept. 7 press release from KPS3.
He also previously worked at Ruby Seven Studios. A graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno, Ruecker studied business administration, during which he interned at the Small Business Development Center and attended startup pitching competitions, where he made the semi-finals in the UNR Sontag Entrepreneurship Competition.
Sublette’s professional career has consisted of working for large casino resorts and small startups, among other jobs. She received her B.A. in journalism with an emphasis in strategic communications from UNR.
